Australian Skilled Migration is seeking experienced and licensed Electricians to work on various residential and commercial construction projects in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with Australian safety standards and project specifications.

ELECTRICIAN (GENERAL)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Electrician in the same field.
  • Experience in residential and commercial construction projects, including:
    • Houses and apartment buildings
    • Shopping centers and commercial facilities
    • Hotels and swimming pools
  • Aged care and retirement facilities
  • At least 1 year in college or completion of a 1-year vocational course.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform electrical installations in houses, apartments, shopping centers, hotels, swimming pools, and aged care facilities.
  • Inspect electrical systems, identify faults, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and workplace standards.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and components.
  • Install lighting systems, power outlets, switchboards, and control systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
  • Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, and site supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate job reports and documentation of completed work.
  • Follow strict workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures at all times.
