Technical Contracting Company (TCC Kanoo) is seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to perform installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical facilities in oil and gas, petrochemical, utility, or gas processing plants while complying with company procedures, client requirements, and international safety standards.

ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Up to 45 years old.
• Recognized Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Trade Qualification in Electrical Technology or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemical, utility, or gas processing industries.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical faults using electrical testing instruments.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards, electrical isolation procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments and plant maintenance operations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical equipment and systems.
• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical distribution systems, motors, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, switchgear, generators, lighting systems, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing instruments and implement effective corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Perform testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical equipment when required.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities or potential failures.
• Replace defective electrical components, wiring, breakers, relays, contactors, cables, and other electrical devices.
• Ensure proper isolation procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements are followed before maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel during plant shutdowns and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure work areas remain clean and safe.
• Participate in emergency maintenance activities to restore equipment operation with minimal downtime.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors or management.
