Manpower Resources of Asia, Inc. is urgently looking for experienced Electrical & Instrument Technicians (Preservation) for the Osman Gazi Project bound for Filyos Port, Turkey. The successful candidates will be responsible for preserving, inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation equipment to ensure equipment remains in reliable and serviceable condition throughout project phases.
ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN (PRESERVATION)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, energy, marine, offshore, or industrial environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Experience with electrical and instrumentation inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems, including SAP, Maximo, Unisup, Datastream, or similar platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with electrical and instrumentation tools and testing equipment.
- Good understanding of equipment preservation and maintenance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to equipment reliability.
- Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preservation, preventive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical and instrumentation systems to identify deterioration, defects, or potential failures.
- Carry out preservation activities to protect electrical and instrumentation equipment from corrosion, moisture, contamination, and environmental damage.
- Inspect electrical panels, control equipment, instruments, cables, junction boxes, and related components.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and instrumentation faults and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Conduct insulation, continuity, and other electrical and instrumentation tests using appropriate testing equipment.
- Maintain and inspect equipment according to approved preservation and maintenance schedules.
- Record inspection findings, maintenance activities, equipment condition, and preservation status accurately.
- Use CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo, Unisup, Datastream, or similar platforms to manage maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow approved maintenance procedures, preservation plans, technical specifications, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, engineering, and operations teams.
- Support equipment commissioning, inspection, testing, shutdown, and project maintenance activities when required.
- Ensure tools, test instruments, and work areas are maintained in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Identify and report equipment defects, safety hazards, and preservation concerns.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and equipment protection throughout preservation activities.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and safe working practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment preservation, reliability, and maintenance.
