Lai Industries Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians for deployment to Australia. The successful candidate will support the manufacturing, installation, testing, and maintenance of medium-voltage electrical systems and switchboard equipment.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must have experience in the manufacturing of Medium Voltage switchboards and packaged substations.
• Experienced in electrical switchboards for power distribution and motor control centres.
• Knowledgeable in generation synchronising systems, energy management systems, and power factor correction systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, wiring systems, and industrial electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Skilled in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a technical team environment.
• Knowledge of workplace electrical safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of medium-voltage switchboards and packaged substations.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical switchboards and power distribution systems.
• Support the setup and maintenance of motor control centres and synchronising systems.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and testing of electrical components and systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering specifications accurately.
• Ensure electrical systems comply with operational, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist in commissioning and maintenance of energy management and power factor correction systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams during project execution.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, and inspection records as required.

• Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
• Employment certificates (previous to present)
• Trainings attended
• Exit visa and Iqama id (Ex Saudi)
• Passport copy (1 year valid)
