Mechanical Services Pte Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support commercial and industrial projects in Fiji. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, supervising, testing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Electrical Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Must have good English communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering documents.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, inspect, and supervise electrical works for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Perform electrical system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical specifications, and project documents.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, technicians, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with approved designs, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support integration and coordination of electrical systems with HVAC, BMS, mechanical, and other building services.
  • Identify technical issues and provide effective solutions during installation and commissioning stages.
  • Prepare technical reports, inspection records, testing documents, and project updates.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure completion of electrical activities within project timelines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following company and workplace safety procedures.
