Prince Sultan Military Medical City is seeking qualified and compassionate Dental Staff Nurse II professionals to provide high-quality nursing care in dental clinics and specialized oral healthcare settings. The successful candidates will assist dentists during dental procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control standards, and deliver professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and international healthcare standards.
Dental Staff Nurse II
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Valid Professional Nursing License.
- Current Saudi Council Nursing Specialist registration (or higher).
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience in dental nursing, oral surgery, or outpatient dental clinics is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization techniques, and patient safety standards.
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Compassionate, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Assist dentists and dental specialists during examinations, surgical procedures, and other dental treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, materials, and equipment prior to patient appointments.
- Ensure proper sterilization, disinfection, and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Assess patients’ medical histories, allergies, and vital signs before treatment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, medications, and preventive dental health practices.
- Administer prescribed medications, local anesthetics (where authorized), and emergency care as directed by the attending dentist or physician.
- Monitor patients during dental procedures and respond promptly to emergencies or adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing documentation, treatment notes, and electronic medical records.
- Coordinate with dentists, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Saudi healthcare regulations, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection prevention programs, and continuing professional development.
- Perform other nursing duties assigned by the Dental Department or Nursing Supervisor.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: SAR 4,700 (approx. US$1,253/month)

Prince Sultan Military Medical City was officially inaugurated on December 1978 with only 385 beds as a first phase. Since then it has grown tremendously. It now includes the main hospital, the southwest corner and the new southwest corner extension with a capacity of about 1200 beds. Additional facilities are being built on a regular basis to accommodate the growing population and their needs and to further enhance the quality of patient care
