Cost Management Accountant
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Animal Husbandry, or Agriculture
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in poultry industry is preferred, but other industries are also accepted
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (including macros)
- Knowledge of MS Access and PowerPoint is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong communication skills across all levels of management
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage detailed product costings and cost control analysis across operations.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, ensuring accuracy in cost allocation and reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to cost and production activities.
- Develop financial models and reports using advanced Excel tools, including macros and formulas.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to improve financial performance.
- Analyze operational efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities within production processes.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and management teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions and improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management review.
- Assist in improving systems and processes related to cost accounting and financial reporting.
