Cost Estimator

Qualifications:

• Male applicants preferred for this role.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent acceptable by the User Organization.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction work, including at least 5 years in cost estimating.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Microstation, or AutoCAD is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, preliminary costing, and budgets for construction projects.
• Develop bills of quantity (BOQ) and bills of material (BOM) accurately.
• Define quality scopes and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and management teams to review design and cost requirements.
• Utilize computer software for cost estimation, documentation, and reporting.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Apply value engineering techniques to optimize project costs.
• Ensure estimates align with Saudi Aramco EMS standards and contractual requirements.
