Alkhorayef Water & Power Technologies Co. Ltd. (AWPT) is seeking experienced and detail-oriented SCADA Operators for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will monitor, control, and supervise plant operations through SCADA systems to ensure safe, continuous, and efficient industrial process performance.

SCADA Operator

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be graduates of a four-year undergraduate course.
  • Experience in monitoring, controlling, and supervising plant operations using SCADA systems.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial process operations, alarms, equipment monitoring, and operational procedures.
  • Experience in water/wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and utility facilities is highly preferred.
  • Ability to remotely operate pumps, valves, motors, and process units through SCADA systems.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer operations, SCADA software, and operational reporting systems.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or within an operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise plant operations through SCADA systems to ensure safe and efficient process performance.
  • Observe real-time operational data, alarms, and equipment status continuously.
  • Operate pumps, valves, motors, and process units remotely through SCADA interfaces.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to address faults, abnormalities, and operational concerns.
  • Document operational activities, incidents, alarms, and system performance accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Monitor water and wastewater treatment processes, pumping stations, and utility operations effectively.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, equipment failures, and emergency situations according to procedures.
  • Prepare operational logs, reports, and shift documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper operational standards within the control room and work areas.
