Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd is seeking a skilled Contract Administrator (Subcontracts) to manage subcontractor agreements and ensure smooth execution of all subcontracted work. The candidate will negotiate, coordinate, and administer subcontract arrangements while handling claims, variations, and disputes.
CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (SUBCONTRACTS)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in construction contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of subcontract administration procedures, claims management, and cost implications.
- Proven ability to negotiate and coordinate effectively with subcontractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting correspondence and agreements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and coordinate contractual matters with subcontractors.
- Draft, review, and finalize subcontract agreements, ensuring terms and conditions are properly defined.
- Handle claim responses, variation assessments, and resolve subcontract disputes efficiently.
- Prepare formal letters, contractual correspondence, and other commercial documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all subcontract agreements and communications.
- Ensure compliance with subcontract administration procedures and company policies.
- Analyze cost implications and support project teams in financial assessments related to subcontracted work.
