We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Commis I to join Seazen Group Co. in Kuwait. The successful candidate will assist senior chefs in food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality standards and smooth workflow in a fine dining environment.
Commis I
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience in Italian, Intercontinental, or International cuisine, preferably in a fine dining restaurant
- Good knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and time management skills
- Physically fit and able to work in a demanding kitchen environment
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior kitchen staff in preparing ingredients and basic cooking tasks
- Follow standard recipes and instructions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of food items
- Assist in plating and portioning dishes according to standards
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries and supplies
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior chefs and kitchen management

- Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
