Grapecare Limited is seeking qualified and experienced CNC Laser Cutting / Plasma Cutting Operators to work in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will operate CNC laser and plasma cutting machines, prepare materials, interpret technical drawings, perform quality inspections, and ensure finished products meet required dimensions and specifications. Experience with Durma, ORCA, or similar CNC cutting machines is preferred.

CNC LASER CUTTING / PLASMA CUTTING OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Male, 25–45 years old.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC Laser Cutting or Plasma Cutting Machines.
• Experience with Durma, ORCA, or similar CNC cutting machines is preferred.
• Ability to prepare materials, operate CNC cutting machines, and perform quality inspections of finished products.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of CNC cutting processes, machine settings, material preparation, and quality control.
• Knowledge of Lantek Expert software is a plus.
• Forklift operation experience is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate cutting dimensions and product quality.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC laser cutting and plasma cutting machines safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and position metal sheets, plates, and other materials for CNC cutting operations.
• Set up machines according to production requirements, material specifications, cutting programs, and technical instructions.
• Load and unload materials and finished components using appropriate handling procedures.
• Monitor cutting operations to ensure accurate and consistent production.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, cutting plans, and specifications.
• Check material dimensions, thickness, type, and quantity before starting production.
• Input, select, or adjust cutting programs and machine parameters as required.
• Use Lantek Expert software when applicable for programming, nesting, or production preparation.
• Inspect finished products to verify dimensions, cut quality, shape, and overall conformity with specifications.
• Identify defects such as incorrect dimensions, rough edges, incomplete cuts, or other production irregularities.
• Perform basic finishing tasks such as removing slag, burrs, and excess material from cut components.
• Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain cutting accuracy and product quality.
• Perform routine checks of CNC machines, cutting tools, consumables, and related equipment.
• Report machine malfunctions, production issues, or safety concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
• Keep the machine, tools, materials, and work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with supervisors, fabricators, welders, and other production personnel to meet production schedules.
• Assist with material handling and other workshop duties when required.
• Operate a forklift when authorized and qualified to do so.
• Follow company policies, production procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other CNC cutting and production-related duties assigned by management.
