Linc Facility Services is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chiller Technician to join its facilities maintenance team at Hamad International Airport in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of chiller systems and associated HVAC plant equipment in a large-scale, high-demand facility environment.
Chiller Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in chiller or HVAC maintenance.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within large commercial or industrial establishments.
- Experience must be in maintenance (not construction-only background).
- Relevant college degree, diploma, or certified vocational training in HVAC, mechanical, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical system issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers and related HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in air-cooled and water-cooled chiller systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and control systems.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and equipment reports.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and airport operational procedures.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
