Job Vacancy: CHEF DE PARTIE (BAKERY & PASTRY SECTION)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie specializing in Bakery and Pastry to join our culinary team in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality bakery and pastry products while maintaining excellent food quality, presentation, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
CHEF DE PARTIE (BAKERY & PASTRY SECTION)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a bakery, pastry section, hotel, restaurant, or similar food establishment.
- Proven experience as a Baker, Pastry Cook, or Chef de Partie (Bakery & Pastry).
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Good knowledge of bakery and pastry preparation techniques.
- Ability to produce quality baked goods while following recipes and kitchen standards.
- Pleasant personality with good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit and willing to work extended hours when required.
- Applicants must meet the required age limit set by the employer.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce a variety of bakery and pastry items according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Assist in the daily operations of the Bakery and Pastry Section.
- Prepare doughs, pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and other baked products.
- Ensure proper measurement, mixing, baking, decoration, and presentation of pastry products.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Assist in stock monitoring, ingredient preparation, and inventory control.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
