Social Welfare Corporation Toyokai is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the Care Worker position under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program in Japan. Successful candidates will provide daily care and support to elderly residents, helping them maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life while ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
CARE WORKER (SSW)
Qualifications:
- Male and Female applicants are welcome to apply
- Must be one of the following:
- Former EPA Care Worker; or
- Former Technical Intern Trainee (TITP) in the Care Worker category; or
- First-time applicant with a Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test (Prometric) pass (English and Japanese)
- Must have passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic) A2
- With or without relevant work experience
- No visible tattoos
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing quality care
- Physically and mentally fit to perform caregiving duties
- Willing to work in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and other personal care needs
- Monitor residents’ health and condition and report any changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals
- Assist with recreational and social activities to enhance residents’ well-being
- Maintain accurate care records in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the care facility
- Follow infection control protocols, workplace safety regulations, and Japanese caregiving standards
- Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality care
