CAR MECHANIC
Qualifications:
- Relevant automotive or mechanical industry qualifications.
- Strong vehicle diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify mechanical faults and perform accurate repairs.
- Experience conducting vehicle health checks and preparing inspection reports.
- Full and valid driver’s license is required.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Applicants must be 25 to 50 years old.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and prioritize daily tasks.
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and continuously improve technical skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Willing to work in Ireland and meet the employer’s deployment requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on passenger vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle health checks and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
- Repair or replace defective vehicle components, including engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability and performance.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation.
- Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and inspection documentation.
- Communicate repair findings and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers and supervisors.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within scheduled timelines.
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and service personnel to achieve workshop productivity goals.
- Perform other automotive repair and maintenance duties as assigned.
