Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- At least High School Graduate
- Must possess a Slaughtering Operations (Swine) NC II certification
- Experience in meat cutting, trimming, and preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper meat handling procedures
- Ability to use meat processing tools and equipment safely
- Physically fit and capable of handling meat products and working in refrigerated environments
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of meat products to maintain freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, equipment, and preparation areas.
- Assist customers with meat selection, special requests, and product recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damaged products, or stock concerns.
- Label, package, weigh, and display meat products accurately.
- Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Inspect meat products to ensure quality and compliance with company requirements.
- Minimize product waste through proper handling and storage practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
