ASSISTANT ORIENTAL COOK
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- At least High School Graduate
- TESDA Certification or related culinary training is an advantage
- Experience in Asian/Oriental cooking is preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions from the head chef
- Knowledge of basic food preparation, cutting, and ingredient handling
- Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing Asian and Oriental dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Prepare, chop, and store ingredients properly for daily kitchen operations.
- Follow instructions from the head chef and kitchen supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Support kitchen operations during busy service hours.
- Ensure proper food storage and ingredient handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Help in preparing ingredients for cooking and plating as needed.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
