Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant cooking experience
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Food & Beverage Preparation, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Must have a TESDA Certification or equivalent culinary qualification
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, recipes, and food preparation standards
- Ability to maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to standard recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all kitchen areas.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in stock control and ordering supplies.
- Follow food safety regulations and proper kitchen sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods to ensure timely food preparation.
- Assist in meal planning and kitchen preparation activities as needed.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to avoid spoilage or waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by kitchen supervisors or management.
