ASSISTANT COOK
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- At least High School Graduate
- TESDA Certification or related culinary training is an advantage
- Experience in kitchen work or food preparation is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by senior cooks.
- Prepare ingredients such as washing, cutting, and measuring food items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Support cooks during busy service periods and peak hours.
- Help ensure proper storage of food supplies and ingredients.
- Assist in organizing kitchen stock and monitoring supplies.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a clean working environment.
- Follow instructions from kitchen supervisors and chefs.
- Perform other related kitchen duties as assigned.
