Blokhaus Recruitment is seeking experienced Bricklayers to support construction projects in New Zealand. The role involves laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct and repair walls, structures, and building foundations in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
MASON (BRICKLAYER)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Below 45 years old.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant bricklaying experience.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must hold a valid passport.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual construction work.
- Able to work in outdoor construction environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units to construct walls, partitions, and structures.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Prepare mortar and ensure proper mixing and application.
- Measure and align materials to ensure accuracy and structural integrity.
- Repair and restore existing brickwork as required.
- Ensure work is completed according to quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain basic masonry tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the worksite.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
Requirements:
- Passport copy
- Vaccine Card
- Transcript of record and diploma (if college or vocational of 1year)
- Form 137 and diploma (high school)
- Employment certificate (for all company stated in your resume)
