People Inc. is seeking experienced Leadman Scaffolders to supervise and perform scaffolding installation, dismantling, and maintenance works for construction and industrial projects in New Zealand. The successful candidate will lead scaffolding teams, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain efficient project operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the same field.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• With relevant hands-on experience for the position applied for.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection procedures, and safety regulations.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills in construction environments.
• Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in demanding work conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise scaffolding teams during erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
• Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure stability, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
• Read and interpret scaffolding plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate work assignments and ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure proper use of scaffolding materials, tools, and safety equipment.
• Conduct routine safety checks and enforce workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assist in training and guiding junior scaffolders and workers.
• Maintain scaffolding equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, site managers, and team members regarding project progress and safety concerns.
