T3 Projects Zambia is seeking an experienced Welding Foreman to lead welding operations and supervise welding crews on industrial and construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee daily welding activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain efficient project execution while delivering high-quality workmanship.

WELDING FOREMAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in welding, including supervisory or crew leadership experience.
• No minimum educational attainment is required.
• Proven experience leading welding teams on industrial or construction projects.
• Advanced welding expertise across multiple welding processes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and WPS documents.
• Thorough knowledge of welding quality standards, including AWS and ASME codes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Committed to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily welding activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
• Review and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, technical drawings, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Assign tasks, monitor crew performance, and provide technical guidance to welders.
• Enforce workplace safety by ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting safety meetings, and implementing OSHA hot work protocols.
• Inspect completed welds for compliance with AWS, ASME, and project quality standards, and coordinate required testing and inspections.
• Monitor welding materials, equipment, and consumables to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with project supervisors, engineers, and quality inspectors to resolve technical issues and maintain productivity.
• Prepare daily work reports and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
