Almarai Company is seeking skilled Automation Technicians to maintain and support automated production systems in its manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of automated machinery to maximize production performance.
Automation Technician
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related working experience.
- Diploma in Technology or a related technical field.
- Experience in a food manufacturing company is required.
- Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and overtime when required.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation-related faults to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect, test, repair, and replace defective automation components, including sensors, motors, actuators, and control devices.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and calibration of automation equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support continuous manufacturing operations.
