AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Vocational or college graduate in a related course (e.g., Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics)
- Skilled in troubleshooting PLC/HMI/SCADA, field I/O, VFDs/servos, sensors, and actuators
- Experience performing PLC I/O checks and parameter edits under supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, servos, sensors, and actuators
- Perform PLC I/O checks and make safe parameter adjustments under engineer guidance
- Diagnose and resolve automation issues to minimize production downtime
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support continuous operations
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
