Auto Electrician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in automotive electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Vocational or technical education in Automotive Technology, Auto Electrical Systems, or a related field.
• TESDA NC II Certification in Automotive Servicing or a related qualification is required.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic scanners, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Good understanding of automotive safety standards and electrical repair procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work in a workshop environment.
• Willing to work in the United Arab Emirates under the employer’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults in gasoline, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
• Inspect, test, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, starters, alternators, ignition systems, lighting, wiring, sensors, and electronic control modules.
• Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify faults and perform accurate troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical service manuals.
• Install, repair, and replace wiring harnesses, electrical accessories, switches, relays, fuses, and other automotive electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Test repaired electrical systems to verify proper functionality and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with company quality standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and diagnostic findings.
• Keep tools, diagnostic equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with mechanics and service advisors to resolve complex vehicle issues.
• Perform other automotive electrical repair and maintenance duties assigned by management.
