Auto Body Repair

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Auto Body Repair.
• Technical or Vocational Certificate in Automotive Servicing, Auto Body Repair, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques, structural repairs, and panel replacement.
• Experience using automotive body repair equipment, welding tools, measuring systems, grinders, and hand tools.
• Ability to read repair manuals and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Must possess a valid passport with at least 2 years of remaining validity.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in an automotive workshop environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the extent of body and structural repairs required.
• Repair, replace, and restore damaged vehicle panels, frames, bumpers, doors, fenders, hoods, and other body components.
• Straighten vehicle frames and body structures using specialized repair equipment and measuring tools.
• Remove dents, repair body damage, and align vehicle panels to manufacturer specifications.
• Weld, cut, grind, and fabricate metal body parts when necessary.
• Prepare repaired surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming vehicles for painting and refinishing.
• Install replacement body parts, trims, moldings, glass, and other vehicle components.
• Use body repair equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform final quality inspections to ensure repairs meet company and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain accurate repair records and document completed work.
• Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Perform other automotive body repair duties assigned by supervisors.
