Pacific International Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of its retail, supermarket, and wholesale business. The successful candidate will assist in managing daily operations, improving business performance, overseeing inventory and logistics activities, and leading teams to achieve company goals in a remote island environment.
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Proven management experience in Retail, Supermarket, or Wholesale Operations.
- Strong background in:
- Inventory Control
- Purchasing
- Logistics Coordination
- Financial Management
- Team Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee business operations effectively.
- Practical hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication abilities.
Ability to adapt and work effectively in a remote island environment. - Strong commitment to operational excellence and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily retail, supermarket, and wholesale operations.
- Support business planning, operational improvements, and implementation of company strategies.
- Manage and monitor inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and availability.
- Oversee purchasing activities, supplier coordination, and logistics operations.
- Analyze operational performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support financial management activities, including budgeting, cost control, and expense monitoring.
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage employees to achieve operational targets.
- Develop solutions to operational challenges using a practical and hands-on leadership approach.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Adapt operations to meet the unique demands of working in a remote island environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
