TeraPower Technology Inc. (TPW) is hiring Assistant Engineers to support its semiconductor assembly and testing operations. The role involves assisting in wafer probing, final IC testing, and quality assurance processes to ensure high reliability and performance of semiconductor products used in various industries including automotive applications.

Assistant Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or related field (preferred depending on employer requirement).
• Willingness to work in semiconductor manufacturing and testing environment.
• Basic understanding of electronics, ICs, or semiconductor processes is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures accurately.
• Physically fit and able to work in a cleanroom or production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in wafer probing processes to test semiconductor wafers prior to packaging.
• Support final testing of integrated circuits (ICs) to ensure product functionality and quality.
• Assist in memory and logic chip testing operations.
• Support automotive-grade semiconductor testing procedures.
• Operate and monitor testing equipment under supervision of engineers.
• Record and analyze test results accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality control guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production and testing area.
• Report equipment issues or test abnormalities to senior engineers.
• Assist in continuous improvement of testing processes and workflow efficiency.
