PINOY 385 D.O.O. is seeking passionate and hardworking Assistant Cooks for deployment to Croatia. The successful candidate will assist in preparing Mediterranean, Italian, Western, and Japanese cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.  

ASSISTANT COOK

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least high school graduates.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred and considered an advantage.
• Vocational training or a culinary certificate is beneficial.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods such as grilling, sautéing, frying, and food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and kitchen instructions accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Responsible, organized, and able to multitask efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Cook menu items as directed by the Head Cook using standardized recipes and proper cooking techniques.
• Assist in preparing Mediterranean, Italian, Western, and Japanese dishes according to company standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, kitchen equipment, floors, utensils, and tools following health and safety regulations.
• Receive deliveries, organize food supplies, and store ingredients properly.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to supervisors.
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and quality during preparation and cooking processes.
• Plate meals according to recipe specifications and presentation standards.
• Support kitchen operations during busy service periods and coordinate with kitchen staff effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper hygiene standards within the kitchen at all times.
