Assembly Worker
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in manual assembly requiring fine motor skills.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and work instructions.
- Skilled in using assembly tools, hand tools, and basic production equipment.
- Experience conducting quality inspections of completed assemblies.
- Knowledge of recording production output, documenting non-conformities, and maintaining production records.
- Experience in packaging and labeling finished products.
- Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive assembly tasks while standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts, components, and sub-assemblies accurately according to technical drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Perform manual assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills, precision, and attention to detail.
- Operate assembly tools, hand tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure correct component installation and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and report defective components, missing materials, equipment malfunctions, or production issues to the supervisor.
- Record production output, completed units, and non-conforming products in accordance with company procedures.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the work area following company housekeeping standards.
- Handle materials and finished products carefully to prevent damage during assembly and packaging.
- Follow production schedules while meeting quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow production personnel to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
