Appliance Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate holder in a related field or similar
• Male applicants are preferred for this role
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with household appliance systems and repair tools

Responsibilities:

• Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, and ovens
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils and calibrating settings to ensure optimal performance
• Analyze appliance malfunctions, dismantle units, and replace defective parts such as motors, thermostats, and pumps
• Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks while maintaining safety standards
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
• Provide guidance to clients or team members on appliance care and troubleshooting
