Aviation Services Company (Riyadh Air) is seeking a highly qualified Airframe & Powerplant Engineer I (Line Maintenance) to support line maintenance operations for the Boeing 787-9 (GEnx engine) fleet. The successful candidate will perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and certification activities while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational reliability.
Airframe & Powerplant Engineer I (Line Maintenance)
Qualifications:
- Valid GACA Airman License (A&P) and/or CAA Part-66 B1 License with Boeing 787-9 (GEnx engine) endorsement.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable aircraft maintenance experience, supported by maintenance logbook records, under GACA or other recognized Civil Aviation Authority regulations, including Boeing 787 GEnx aircraft.
- Previous certifying staff experience on the Boeing 787 within the last 3 years.
- Active A&P license with no restrictions or limitations.
- Completed Level III Type Training on the Boeing 787-9.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Line Maintenance environment.
- Must have performed certifying duties within the last 2 years.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation regulations, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance on Boeing 787-9 aircraft equipped with GEnx engines.
- Conduct aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, component replacements, and system testing to ensure airworthiness.
- Certify maintenance work in accordance with GACA and applicable Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations.
- Review aircraft technical records, maintenance manuals, engineering orders, and service bulletins before carrying out maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with approved procedures, manufacturer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance control, and engineering teams to minimize aircraft downtime and ensure on-time departures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, logbooks, and certification records.
- Adhere to company safety policies, quality assurance requirements, and aviation industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
