AGL System Shift Supervisor / Foreman
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in terminal operations, cargo handling, or related industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of terminal operations, vessel coordination, yard management, and cargo movement procedures.
- Experience in supervising operational teams and coordinating shift activities efficiently.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations, operational compliance standards, and company procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage operations in fast-paced environments.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial or terminal operation environments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate daily terminal operations, ensuring efficient and safe cargo handling activities.
- Supervise vessel operations, yard management, and cargo movement to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor terminal activities to minimize downtime, delays, and congestion.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with operations teams, equipment operators, and logistics personnel to maintain smooth workflow.
- Monitor workforce performance and provide guidance to operational staff during shifts.
- Prepare operational reports, shift records, and incident documentation accurately.
- Respond promptly to operational issues, emergencies, and safety concerns.
- Maintain effective communication with management and other departments regarding operational status and requirements.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of operational equipment and facilities.
