CAR MECHANIC
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of working experience as a car mechanic or automotive technician.
- At least a high school graduate.
- Must possess a valid Passport, Training Certificate (Automotive Servicing NC I / NC II), Certificate of Employment (COE), Birth Certificate, and Form 137.
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic machinery.
- Physically fit and able to work in garage or repair shop environments.
- Willing to work in conditions with noise, vibration, fumes, and dirt.
Responsibilities:
- Repair or replace worn vehicle parts such as brakes, engines, belts, and other mechanical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance including fluid checks, oil changes, and tire rotations.
- Diagnose vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Explain vehicle concerns and repair recommendations to service advisors or customers.
- Provide accurate repair assessments and support efficient workshop operations.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure vehicles are safe for operation after repairs.
