SPORTS ORGANIZER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Sports Organizer or in a similar recreation or sports coordination role.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management, Hospitality/Tourism Management, or other related fields.
- Previous experience in sports organizing is preferred.
- Outstanding communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and capable of motivating guests of different ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and event coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of sports safety practices and recreational activity management.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate daily sports and recreational activities for hotel guests.
- Assist in the planning and execution of sports tournaments, corporate team-building activities, and seasonal sporting events.
- Encourage guest participation by creating fun, interactive, and engaging sports experiences.
- Enforce all safety policies, rules, and emergency procedures in sports and recreation areas, including swimming pools, fitness centers, tennis courts, and other activity venues.
- Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance checks of sports and fitness equipment.
- Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the engineering or management team for prompt repair.
- Prepare activity schedules and ensure all sports facilities are ready for daily operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional relationship with guests.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to support guest events and recreational programs.
