ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1β2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to work in the United Arab Emirates under the employer’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily financial transactions and updating accounting systems.
- Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor customer accounts, follow up on outstanding receivables, and coordinate collections when necessary.
- Verify invoices, payment requests, expense reports, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain organized accounting files and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and clients regarding financial and accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations.
- Support external and internal audits by providing required financial documents and reports.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
