Vinyl / Carpet Installer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in vinyl and carpet installation
• Experience using vinyl welding guns and OEG torch
• Skilled in heat seaming, carpet tile, and plank installation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Safety-conscious and able to follow workplace safety standards
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Install vinyl flooring, carpet tiles, planks, and other floor coverings according to specifications
• Perform heat seaming and welding using appropriate tools such as vinyl welding guns and OEG torches
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper conditions for installation
• Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and finish
• Inspect completed installations to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise
