AUTO PAINTER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience as an Auto Painter.
• Knowledgeable in automotive painting, spray painting, and paint finishing techniques.
• TESDA NCII certification is an advantage.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate.
• Skilled in paint mixing, color matching, sanding, polishing, and surface preparation.
• Knowledgeable in using spray guns, compressors, sanding tools, and painting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and capable of working in automotive workshop environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.
• Mix and match paint colors according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
• Apply paint coatings using spray guns and automotive painting equipment.
• Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing work to achieve high-quality paint results.
• Repair paint defects, scratches, dents, and surface imperfections when necessary.
• Inspect completed paint jobs to ensure quality and color consistency standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with technicians and supervisors regarding repair and painting schedules.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of paints, chemicals, and automotive materials.
