Gabon Wood Industries is seeking a creative, organized, and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Manager to develop and implement international and local marketing strategies, expand market presence, strengthen brand awareness, and grow sales. The successful candidate will manage marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies, coordinate with internal and international teams, and lead the sales and marketing team toward achieving business objectives.

Sales and Marketing Manager

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in an international or business-to-business environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic international and local marketing plans.
  • Experience managing both direct mail and digital marketing, including email, social media, and print.
  • Strong creative ability with the capacity to generate new and innovative marketing ideas.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to manage and lead subordinates effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and international counterparts.
  • Strong understanding of market research, customer development, brand awareness, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to establish, implement, and update policies, practices, procedures, SOPs, templates, and checklists.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple work streams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales, marketing, and business growth objectives.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective teamwork and collaboration.
  • Adaptable and capable of responding effectively to changes in market conditions and business priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company’s strategic international and local marketing plan to maximize market share and support business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to enter new markets and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Develop strategies to increase brand awareness and strengthen the company’s market position.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
  • Research and develop products and pricing policies to establish competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
  • Monitor changes in the marketing environment and adjust marketing plans and strategies accordingly.
  • Develop initiatives to increase sales and grow the business among the existing customer base.
  • Identify and pursue potential new customers, markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.
  • Plan and manage marketing activities across both traditional and digital channels, including direct mail, email, social media, and print.
  • Develop creative marketing concepts, campaigns, promotional materials, and initiatives that support company objectives.
  • Establish, implement, review, and update written policies, practices, procedures, SOPs, templates, checklists, and other marketing-related documentation.
  • Ensure marketing and sales processes are consistently implemented and properly documented.
  • Manage communication and coordination with internal teams as well as international counterparts.
  • Lead, supervise, and manage sales and marketing personnel to achieve departmental goals.
  • Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, provide guidance, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Manage multiple marketing and sales work streams while ensuring deadlines and business priorities are met.
  • Monitor campaign and sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare reports and updates for management regarding marketing activities, market developments, sales performance, and business opportunities.
  • Promote continuous improvement and introduce new and innovative ideas to strengthen marketing effectiveness and business growth.
  • Perform other related sales and marketing duties as assigned by management.
