Nail Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nail Technician.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Skilled in performing professional manicure and pedicure services.
  • Experience applying gel polish, acrylic nails, dip powder, builder gel, and other nail enhancement techniques.
  • Knowledge of proper nail care, nail health, and sanitation procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and artistic ability for nail design and decoration.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and client safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional manicure and pedicure services according to client preferences and salon standards.
  • Apply nail enhancements, including Gel Polish, Acrylic Nails, Dip Powder, Builder Gel
  • Create customized nail art and decorative nail designs based on client requests.
  • Shape, trim, buff, and polish natural nails.
  • Remove old nail polish, gel, acrylic, and other nail enhancements safely and professionally.
  • Assess nail health and recommend appropriate nail care treatments and products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations before and after each client.
  • Sterilize and disinfect all tools, equipment, and implements in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of beauty products and chemicals.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming salon environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by consulting with clients and recommending suitable nail treatments.
  • Keep accurate records of client preferences and services performed when required.
  • Stay updated on current nail care techniques, trends, and products.
  • Promote salon products and additional beauty services when appropriate.
  • Comply with workplace health, safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
  • Perform other salon and beauty-related duties assigned by management.
