PIGGERY ATTENDANT

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Piggery Attendant
• Experience working in a large-scale piggery farm or commercial swine production facility
• Knowledgeable in pig production, feeding, breeding, animal health, and general farm operations
• At least 1 year college level or completion of a 1-year vocational course
• Overseas farm experience is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to perform farm duties in various weather conditions
• Able to follow strict biosecurity and farm safety procedures

Responsibilities:

• Care for pigs including feeding, watering, and daily monitorin
• Assist in breeding, farrowing, and piglet care activities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of pig pens and farm facilities
• Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or injury
• Assist in vaccination, treatment, and basic veterinary support tasks
• Follow biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks
• Support farm operations including moving animals and handling livestock
• Maintain farm equipment and ensure proper use of tools
• Record basic production data and livestock updates
• Perform general farm maintenance and support duties as assigned
