AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Bachelor’s or College Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in agricultural irrigation management.
- Knowledge of irrigation infrastructure, water distribution systems, pumps, valves, and drainage management.
- Ability to lead and supervise field staff efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain irrigation infrastructure, including pipes, pumps, valves, and water distribution systems, to prevent malfunctions.
- Develop and implement effective watering schedules to ensure crops receive adequate hydration.
- Assign daily tasks to general workers, such as setting up irrigation equipment, opening valves, and cleaning drainage systems.
Inspect irrigation equipment regularly to ensure operational efficiency. - Coordinate with farm managers and agricultural engineers to optimize irrigation performance.
- Train and guide field staff on proper irrigation techniques and safety practices.
