BEM Technician
Qualifications:
- Must be 25–40 years old.
- Must have 3–5 years of relevant work experience in building equipment maintenance, building systems, or a related technical field.
- Must possess a Certificate of Employment (COE), Diploma, NC II, or other related technical certificates.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Must have knowledge of building maintenance systems, equipment inspection, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Must be familiar with basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and building utility systems.
- Must be capable of using maintenance tools and equipment and identifying equipment faults.
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment instructions, and maintenance documents.
- Must be physically fit, responsible, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot building equipment and facility systems.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on building utilities, mechanical equipment, and related installations.
- Identify equipment defects, malfunctions, and maintenance requirements.
- Assist in repairing or replacing defective components and equipment.
- Monitor the condition and performance of building systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other facility equipment as assigned.
- Use appropriate tools and testing instruments to diagnose equipment problems.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and service documentation.
- Coordinate with other maintenance technicians and supervisors to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
- Follow company procedures, technical specifications, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned work areas.
