DIESEL MOTOR MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • Proven experience as a diesel motor mechanic (e.g., 2–5+ years)
  • Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks, earth-moving equipment or agricultural machinery is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, overhaul and replace mechanical components including engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, and exhausts
  • Provide safe and high-quality workmanship in line with Australian workplace safety standards.
  • Advise clients or supervisors on repair needs, parts requirements, and estimated costs.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance (oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, etc.).
  • Inspect and diagnose faults in diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains and associated systems.
