Fitter Mechanic
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Fitter Mechanic in the cable manufacturing industry or a related field.
- Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Machining, or a relevant trade qualification.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing cable manufacturing machinery.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate cable extrusion machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep machinery in optimal condition.
- Inspect finished cables for quality, ensuring they meet specified dimensions, color, and insulation requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, material usage, and output.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisor
