WORKSHOP FOREMAN/SUPERVISOR
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in workshop operations, supervision, or a related technical field.
- Vocational certificate or TESDA certificate.
- Knowledge of workshop procedures, tools, equipment, and maintenance or repair activities.
- Ability to supervise workers, assign tasks, and monitor job progress.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain quality standards and enforce workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities and job assignments.
- Allocate tasks to workshop personnel according to their skills and operational priorities.
- Monitor work progress to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and meet required quality standards.
- Guide and support workshop workers in carrying out maintenance, repair, and technical tasks.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available for assigned jobs.
- Monitor the proper use, care, and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets technical specifications and quality requirements.
- Identify work delays, technical problems, and resource shortages and report them to management.
- Ensure workshop personnel follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions.
- Assist in training and developing workshop staff as required.
- Coordinate with the Workshop Manager and other departments to support efficient operations.
