Cake Artist

Qualifications:

Male applicants are preferred

With minimum of 2 years working experience as cake decorator/artist.

Artistic, creative, with excellent attention to detail and handiness.

Experienced overseas will be an added advantage.

Excellent customer service skills, Willingness to work a variety of shifts.

Training in pastry arts, culinary design, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Consulting with clients to understand event and cake needs.

Creating preliminary cake designs, including drawings or other mock-ups for approval

Decorating cakes and other pastries with a variety of tools and ingredients.

Preparing cake batters, fillings, icings and other necessary cake components.

Sculpting cakes into intricate shapes and forms

Collaborating with chefs, bakers and other team members to ensure the quality and visual appeal of the final product.

Ordering necessary supplies and managing tool and ingredient inventory.

Keeping work-spaces and equipment clean and sanitary
