Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Roads)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering is required (Professional Engineering License/PRC)
  • 10+ years related working experience in large scale construction/infrastructure projects
  • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations/codes and Project Management Tools
  • As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in site supervision, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia
  • A strong understanding of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards, adherence to safety protocols, and efficient project delivery, all while promoting teamwork and collaboration on the construction site.
  • You will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of MEP systems, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer in infrastructure and construction projects, with a minimum of 8 years in site supervision roles.

Job Description:

  • Site Supervision:
    • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations;
    • Monitor the progress of construction activities and take necessary actions to meet project milestones and deadline
    • Perform regular site inspections and meetings with the contractor to identify and resolve issues and provide technical guidance to the on-site team.
    • Monitor the contractor to ensure that they follow the approved planning and resource allocation
    • Ensure that works are compliance with legal regulations and company procedures.
    • Prepare project status reports and other project specific documentation under coordination with the RE.
  • Quality Assurance:
      • Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of a high-standard infrastructure project in aspect to Electrical works.
      • Under the lead of the RE do the required reviews and approvals for all Contractors submittals like (WIRs, MIRs, SORs, NCRs, MSRA, Logistics Plans, Shop drawings, etc)
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all site personnel adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
    • Stay up-todate with local regulations and ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian construction laws.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Identify and resolve site-related issues, and make informed decisions to keep the project on track.
    • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and respond to unexpected challenges.
