WELDING SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

  • Male Applicants
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience
  • Proven experience working in a supervisory role in the welding field.
  • Familiarity with welding codes, standards, and procedures (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
  • Proficient in using welding tools, equipment, and software applications
  • Must have experience in Steel Fabrication industry

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate welding activities in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Plan, organize, and assign work accordingly to welders, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to welders during welding operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of welding work.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize welding equipment performance.
  • Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of welding tasks.
  • Train and develop welding team members, identifying areas of improvement and providing necessary support.
  • Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of welding materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of welding activities, including work orders, reports, and inspection record
